Well it that time of year again when some of the team take part in the winter target golf league at the golf driving range.So far this season we have won both our matches making it 2 out of 2 we only one 1 last year and that was because the other team did not turn up.

This morning Willie appeared on GMTV, in the background of a live broadcast about the Flood Rescue Operation in Gloucester. Will he be signing autographs at the next monthly team evening?
MCA Press Release re: Gloucester Flood Response from MCA – Two member’s from the team are currently involved with the operation as detailed in the press release. The MCA’s only two specific flood rescue teams (Inverness and Moray) are ready to go South if requested.

With the arrival of a new flood rescue inflatable boat recently, space in the garage at the station has become rather tight. However given the size of the station in the photo above, I don’t think we are doing too badly for space in in Inverness

The Army’s Chinook helicopter which landed today at the Safe Highlander event in Inverness, will not be getting a Christmas Card from our Sector Manager! Think of a Coastguard PR Gazebo (tent), think very unexpected violent downdrafts and think of a row of very expensive cars…I’m sure your imagination can fill in the gaps!
