March 24, 2009
The long awaited building project has started at our station. After having to leave our purpose built unit along the road just over a year ago , we moved into part of the Inverness Harbour Trust office. In the interum this was good but we found we were quite restricted for room. So a new double garage is being built at the rear of the existing building, this will have access via harbour entrance

Cailean has left the team for pastures new after joining the Northern Constabulary and successfully completing his training at the Police College. Cailean has not left the Coastguard Rescue Service though as he has managed to secure a place with a team in Caithness near to his new home. The Team would like to wish him and his wife all the best with their new life and hope to see him soon. Best of luck when the wee one arrives too.
